MC Lively was born Michael Sani Amanesi in 1990 and he hails from Agenebode, Edo State but he was raised by his parents in Ile-Ife, Osun State and he grew up with six siblings.
MC Lively attended Idea Nursery & Primary School, he later enrolled at Moremi High School and he attended Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Law, he went to Law School in 2015 and was called to bar in 2016.
He initially wanted to study Mass communication, but after failing Jamb two times, he settled for Law and it was while in the University that he began his career as an Instagram comedian.
Growing up for this comedian was a bit hard as he was very stubborn right from his childhood days and according to him, he usually stole meats and got into trouble and this made his mother punish him to the extent that he began to ask his mother if he was adopted.
He also revealed that while at the Bayelsa Campus of the Nigerian Law School, he had issues with the administration and wanted to lead a protest, but after remembering the fact that his father used ‘owo ajo’ (loan from the cooperative) to send him to Law School, he restrained himself so that his father won’t end up having a heart attack because of his actions.
