Tremaine Aldon Neverson graduated from High School in 2002 and immediately moved to New Jersey, where he signed with Atlantic Records in 2003. In 2004, he released his debut album titled I Gotta Make It, which debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard 200 and sold over 40,000 copies. In 2007, he released his second album titled Trey Day which featured artistes like Stargate, R. Kelly, Danja, Stargate and Bryan-Michael Cox. His second album sold over 73,000 copies in its first week and was later certified by the RIAA. In 2009, he released a mixtape titled Anticipation and on August 31, 2009, he released his third studio album titled Ready which peaked at No.3 on the Billboard 200 and sold over 131,000 copies and it has since sold over a million copies in the United States and was certified Platinum. He later released other albums like Passion, Pain & Pleasure in 2010, Chapter V in 2012, Trigga in 2014, Tremaine in 2017 and more.
