Patrick Fugit was born Patrick Raymond Fugit on the 27th of October, 1982 in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States and he was also raised there, he was born to his father named Jan Clark-Fugit who worked as a dance teacher and to his father named Bruce Fugit who was an electrical engineer, Fugit is the oldest of three children and he grew up with a younger sister and a younger brother.
Patrick Fugit attended East High School and it was while in High School that he was diagnosed with ADHD, Fugit then went on to appear in a School production of The Twelve Dancing Princesses while he played the role of Shoemaker, while he was in grade seven and he also grew up being a fan of Skateboarding.

While still in School, Fugit and his best friend David Fetzer formed a folk/rock band called Mushman where Fugit played the guitar and also sang, in 2000 Fugit went on to play the role of William Miller in Almost Famous, in 2002 he played the role of Frisbee in Spun, in 2002 he played the role of Paul Trout in White Oleander, in 2004 he starred as Patrick Wheeler in Saved!, in 2004 he played the role of Sam in Dead Birds, in 2005 he played the role of Emmett Orwin in The Amateurs, Zia in the 2006 movie Wristcutters: A Love Story, in 2006 he starred as Bickford Shmecker in Bickford Shemecker’s Cool Ideas and in 2007 he starred as Andrew in The Good Life.
In 2009, Fugit played the role of Cory in Horsemen, in 2009 he played the role of Evra the Snake Boy in Cirque du Freak: The Vampires Assistant, in 2011 he starred as Robin Jones in We Bought a Zoo, Danny in Thanks for sharing in 2012, David Harrison in Reckless in 2013, Officer James Gilpin in Gone Girl in 2014, Alex in the 2014 movie The List, Rich in the 2015 movie Queen of Earth, Elliot See in First Man in 2018 and over the years he has appeared in many other movies.
