Millicent Simmonds was born Millicent Simmonds on the 13th of February, 2003 and she was born to her parents named Felix and Derani Simmonds and she was born and raised in Utah, United States alongside her four siblings, who are three sisters and a brother named Ken Simmonds.
At the age of 12 months, Simmonds lost her ability to hear due to a medication overdose, this made her mother to learn American Sign Language and then thought the whole family, so that they could be able to communicate with her.
By the time, she was three years old, Simmonds enrolled at the Jean Massieu School of the Deaf, it was at this School that she harnessed and perfected her acting talents; she later attended the Mueller Park Junior High School, where she graduated from in 2015.
