Mac Lethal grew up being a huge fan of music. He released his debut album titled Men Are from Mars, Pornstars Are from Earth in 2002 under HHI Recordings and that same year, he won the Scribble Jam rap battle. In 2006, he founded the Mac Lethal Black Clover Records with longtime friend Jeremy Willis. In 2007, he released a studio album titled 11:11 on Rhymesayers Entertainment. In 2011, he was offered a contract from Sony which he rejected. In November of 2011, he released a YouTube video of him rapping over the beat to Chris Brown’s Look at Me Now while he prepared pancakes in his kitchen. The video eventually went viral and got millions of views in a matter of days and he was later featured on CNN and The Washington Post. He also runs a Tumblr feed called ‘Texts from Benneth’. He released the novel of the same name on Simon & Schuster in 2013. On April 1, 2016, he and Amber Diamond hosted the television show, Binge Thinking which premiered on MTV2 and on September 13, he released a studio album titled Congratulations which featured a guest appearance from Tech N9ne. On December 31, 2011, he released an album titled Irish Goodbye.
