Jonathan Kodjia was born Jonathan Adjo Kodjia in Paris, France and he was born to his father named Adjo Kodjia, a local fisherman and to his mother Malome Kodjia.
Career
Since making his official team debut with French Club Reims, where he played from 2008 to 2014, Kodjia has gone on to play for several other clubs such as; Cherbourg from 2011 to 2012, Amiens from 2013 to 2014, Caen from 2013 to 2014, Caen B from 2013 to 2014, Angers from 2014 to 2015, Bristol City from 2015 to 2016, Aston Villa from 2016 to present.
In 2016, he got called up to the Ivory Coast national team side and he has gone on to make over 20 appearances scoring over 10 goals.
