John Malkovich was born John Gavin Malkovich on the 9th of December, 1953 in Christopher, Illinois, United States, but he grew up in Benton, Illinois, which was the same neighborhood popular basketball star Doug Collins also grew up in, Malkovich’s paternal grandparents were Croatians who hailed from Ozalj and his mother was of German, Scottish, French and English ancestry.
Malkovich’s father’s name was Daniel Leon Malkovich and he worked as a State Conservation director and publisher of Outdoor Illinois, his mother’s name was Joe Anne and she owned the Outdoor Illinois which was a Conservation Magazine and he grew up with three younger sisters and an older brother.
Malkovich attended the Logan Grade School, Webster Junior High School and Benton Consolidated High School and later enrolled at the Eastern Illinois University before transferring to Illinois State University, while in High School Malkovich actively got involved in theatre plays and musical carousels and in 1972 he starred in America’s Hurrah.

In 2002, Malkovich created his own fashion company called Mr. Mudd and it released its men’s wear in 2003 named Kimono, in 2016 he starred and wrote a movie called 100 Years: Movie You Will Never See, Malkovich later starred in the video game Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and in 2017 he appeared in Eminem’s single Phenomenal, in 2012 he also directed a production of the French version of Liaisons Dangereuses.
