Keitel attended the Abraham Lincoln High School and it was while at this School, that he discovered his incredible acting talent and decided to pursue a career in it, at the age of 16, he joined the United States Marine Corps and he was posted to Lebanon at the time of Operation Blue Bat, when he came back, he worked as a court Reporter for some years before deciding to pursue his acting career full time.
