In 1997, he directed a soap opera called No Tengo Madre and in 1999, he starred in a comedy show called Derbez en Cuando. In 2000, he starred in Carita de Angel and in 2003, he produced a television series titled XHDRBZ and he also starred in La Familia P.Luche. Other of his films include; Jack and Jill, Girl in Progress and the CBS sitcom Rob!. He starred alongside Jennifer Garner in Sony’s Miracles from Heaven and in 2013, he starred in and directed Instructions Not Included. In 2016, he was featured in How to be a Latin Lover. Over the years, Eugenio has been regarded as one of the most successful Mexican actors and directors. In 2014, he was recognised by Variety as the No. 1 most influential Hispanic male in the world and on March 10, 2016, he was unveiled as a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. In 2014, he joined hands with Benjamin Odell to create 3Pas Studios, a film production company in Los Angeles.
