On May 12th, Diablo IV’s stress test was launched. The test was open to all players, regardless of their pre-order status. Blizzard’s goal was to test server stability and the effectiveness of the new patch, as well as to attract more pre-orders.
Similar to the previous public test, Diablo IV’s stress test involved some adjustments to class balance. Additionally, players could battle against the world boss, Isava, and receive appropriate rewards. Test progress will not be carried over to the official game. Diablo IV’s Season 1 will begin in mid to late July

The advanced battle pass is priced at 1000 platinum or $9.99, while the accelerated battle pass contains the same content but with 20 skip levels and Creator’s Wings emoticon, priced at 2800 platinum or $24.99. Platinum currency is also available in some advanced levels, which players can purchase using real money, and cosmetic items in the shop require platinum to purchase.
Diablo IV’s server stress test will run from May 13th to May 15th. The official launch date of the game is June 6th.
Diablo IV PC Ultimate Edition Rewards can be inherited to the console standard version
Recently, Diablo brand manager Rod Fergusson confirmed on Twitter that even if you purchase the Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Edition of Diablo IV after June 2nd, before the game’s release, you can still experience the game in advance. Blizzard has once again promised that Diablo IV will only feature cosmetic microtransactions. When announcing the game’s post-launch plans, Blizzard emphasized that the paid battle pass in Diablo IV will not provide players with strong in-game advantages.
Blizzard states that the in-game store in Diablo IV, called The Shop, is intended to be a “channel for self-expression.” Blizzard also emphasizes that “all cosmetic items sold in the store only provide aesthetic diversity.” The cosmetic items in the store will be rotated regularly.
Buy a 40 series graphics card and receive Diablo IV
Nvidia has announced a promotion to bundle Diablo IV with the RTX 40 series graphics cards. From May 10th to June 13th, purchasing an RTX 4070, 4070 Ti, 4080, 4090 graphics card, or certain selected desktop PCs from retailers will come with a PC digital version of Diablo IV (for Battle.net) and some in-game items, including mounts, armor, wings, pets, and skins.
