Demian Bichir was born Demian Bichir Najera on the 1st of August 1963 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico and he was born to his actor parents Alejandro Bichir and Maricruz Najera and he grew up with two brothers Odiseo Bichir and Bruno Bichir.
He attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and later worked at the Rosa Mexicano Restaurant before he then went on to pursue his acting career.
