Constance Lau is a Singaporean actress and model and she is popularly known for her role as Celine Lim in the 2018 American love comedy-drama movie Crazy Rich Asians.

Constance Lau was born on the 2nd of February 1983 in Singapore and she was born to Chinese parents and her father named Shina Lau was a lawyer while her mother worked an office job.
According to her, growing up wasn’t very easy as she was a victim of bullying while in High School and all this made her to find solace and support in her High School’s drama club.
She later enrolled at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, where she studied theatre arts.

Lau started off her career as a model, she was signed to FLY Entertainment, her career profile rose the more after she became a finalist at the 2008 The New Paper New Face Modeling Competition and this saw her model for brands such as Singtel and Marina Bay Sands.
She also went on to appear in music videos such as MICapella and for a while she worked as a radio presenter at a local station, where she hosted the program Say it with music and The Evening Lush.
In 2015, Constance made her acting debut as she was cast in the television series Love is Love: Sunrise where she played the role of Shelley, in 2018, she was cast in the movie Crazy Rich Asians, she was later featured by Vanity Fair magazine which made her the first Singaporean to be featured on the Magazine.
