Zazie Beetz was born Zazie Olivia Beetz on the 1st of June, 1991 in Mitte, Berlin, Germany and she was born to her father Joreme Beetz, a German cabinet maker and to her mother, Shiren Beetz, an African-American social worker who hails from New York and she was raised in uptown Manhattan and she grew up speaking English and German languages.
Zazie Beetz attended Harlem School of the Arts and LaGuardia Arts High School, she later enrolled at Skidmore College, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in French and she later went on to train as an actress at Muscota New School.
