He was born to his parents named Garcha Negrete (Father), a Mexican and Esero Negrete (Mother), a Jewish. His parents went to prison when he was still a kid and he had to grow up in a foster home.

Freddy Negrete had his first encounter with tattoos while he was in a Juvenile hall at the age of eleven. It was then that he began to learn the skills involved in tattooing. He also studied prison-style tattooing before he was jailed.
