He continued his football career at University of California, Berkeley and he also played basketball while at the University. Gonzalez was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 1997 NFL Draft. After retiring from Football, he became an analyst on CBS’s NFL pregame show NFL Today and he worked for CBS from 2013 until 2016. In 2017, he began to work as an analyst for FOX’s pregame show.
